GreenOMorph at LOPEC 2026

GreenOMorph was presented at LOPEC together with our EIC Responsible Electronics Portfolio partners DESIRE4EU and ELEGANCE as well as INFRACHIP. The joint presence highlighted the strong collaboration within the portfolio and our shared commitment to advancing sustainable and responsible electronics.

Herbert Gold and colleagues from JOANNEUM RESEARCH presented the vision, objectives and first results of GreenOMorph. Visitors gained insight into our approach to developing green materials for neuromorphic signal processing based on organic synaptic transistors, combining sustainability with advanced device functionality. The numerous discussions at our booth reflected the growing interest in environmentally friendly materials and scalable fabrication concepts for next-generation electronics.

In addition, Andreas Petritz showcased our latest results in his talk “Flexible Active-Matrix Sensory Sheets Based on Printed Ferroelectric Sensors and Organic Transistors” within the session “Physical Sensor Arrays”, chaired by Barbara Stadlober. The talk demonstrated how printed ferroelectric sensors integrated with organic transistors can enable flexible, lightweight and energy-efficient sensor systems.

LOPEC 2026 provided an inspiring environment with impressive scientific contributions, innovative technologies and excellent networking opportunities. We look back on a highly successful event and thank everyone who engaged with us and contributed to the fruitful exchange.
